The first time you open it
Windows and macOS block apps from a developer they cannot verify. The code-signing certificate is not bought yet, so you will see it — allow it once and it does not come back.
- On WindowsOn the blue screen choose More info, then Run anyway.
- On macOSTry to open it once and dismiss the message. Then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and press Open Anyway.
The old right-click → Open trick stopped working in macOS 15. If the button does not appear, run this in Terminal:

Does it cost anything to download?
No. The Windows, macOS, Linux and Android builds are all free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription.
Does it work without internet?
The installed builds work offline — the quotes, templates and fonts all ship inside the app. The browser version needs a connection for its first load.
Should I install it or use the browser?
If you just want a look, the browser is enough and there is nothing to download. If you design regularly, install it — it opens faster, works offline, and keeps the fonts you import.
Why does Windows show a warning?
The build is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen treats the publisher as unknown. Choose More info, then Run anyway. On macOS, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway — once is enough.
Does my text or my images get uploaded?
No. What you write and the pictures you make stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and there is no account.
