Terms of Use
Using Kothachitra means agreeing to the terms below. They are short: the app is free, you own what you make with it, and the app's own content may not be resold or redistributed.

Your right to use the app
Kothachitra is free to use for both personal and commercial work. You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; ownership of the app is not transferred.
The pictures you make
You own the text you type and the pictures you make. Post them, print them or use them in your business — no permission from us is needed. Quote images carry a small Kothachitra mark; visiting cards and ID cards carry none.
You are also responsible for what you make. Using someone else's copyrighted text or photo, or producing anything defamatory or unlawful, is the user's responsibility.
The app's own content
The templates, motifs, frames, stickers, gradients and the app's logo belong to Kothachitra. Making pictures with them and using those pictures for anything at all is entirely free. Extracting the templates or artwork to redistribute or sell as a template pack, font pack or another app is not permitted.
Quotes, verses and literature
The library contains proverbs, folk material, religious texts and lines from well-known poets and writers. Where an author or source is known, it is credited. Qur'an verses and hadith are given with references and as accurately as possible; if you spot a mistake, report it and it will be corrected in the next update.
Fonts
The bundled fonts and those from Google Fonts are used under their own licences. If you import a font from your device, checking that you have the right to use it is your responsibility — many fonts are free to use but not free for commercial work or redistribution.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. There is no guarantee that it will run without fault, behave identically on every phone, or be fit for a particular purpose. Neither Kothachitra nor Ms IT Xpress is liable for loss arising from use of the app, including a misprint that follows from not checking an exported file. Always review the exported file before sending it to a press.
Changes and ending
Features may change and services may be discontinued, and these terms may be updated to match; continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the updated terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
